Firefox 4 To Be Released On March 22nd Says Damon Sicore

As Firefox RC1 received a warm response,the developers are aiming to release Firefox 4 on March 22nd.It should have been released with or before Internet Explorer 9 but unfortunately its delayed.IE 9 was released on March 14 ,9 PM PST.

 

 I read an article at Mozilla.dev Planning where Damon Sicore said that there are no known issues in Firefox .which could block release. Both IT and Marketing have indicated that March 22nd is an acceptable  date for final launch.But he also said that if Mozilla discovers some new bugs then they would issue an RC2 (Release Candidate 2)

PCPedia would like to wish the Firefox Team good luck and  i hope it will be released on the said date.

Internet Explorer 9 Has Been Released - Download It

Internet Explorer 6 was released on August 27, 2001 and looks like Microsoft really want everyone to stop using IE6. Its been 10 years and still now people are using internet explorer 6 although the usage has decreased considerably.The below stats shows the recent usage of IE 6 around the world.

Minimum System Requirements For IE 9 :

• Windows Vista with Service Pack 2 or Higher

It means that to be #1 you have to compete with 6.810.000 million page and it will not be easy if you did not optimize your site when you depending on search engine for traffic.

The function of the search engine it self as explain by wikipedia;

Post-earthquake imagery of Japan

In response to the devastating earthquake and subsequent tsunami that struck Japan, we’ve worked with our satellite imagery providers to get the latest available data of the areas affected most.

To view this high-resolution imagery, courtesy of our partners at GeoEye, download this KML file and explore it in Google Earth. You can also explore the imagery with Google Maps, or have a look at this Picasa album of before-and-after shots. Here’s a sample:

We’re working to provide this data directly to response organizations on the ground to aid their efforts. We hope this new updated satellite imagery is valuable for them as well as everyone else following this situation to help illustrate the extent of the damage.
